Cambodia has a tropical climate with 2 seasons and warm temperatures throughout the year. During May and June temperatures remain high and southwest monsoon brings more humidity! There will certainly be some rainfall from July to October, but it usually comes in short torrential rains. In Cambodia, the dry season lasts from October to April, the rainy season from May to September, and the heaviest rainfall is usually seen in August and September. Average temperatures range from 24 ° C in coller months such as October, November and December to 35 ° C during the hottest period of the year from March to June. It is NOT safe to drink tap water in Cambodia. Water quality varies from region to region and there may be harmful bacteria or viruses, so the safest option is to purify  your water, or opt for bottled water.

You can brush your teeth with tap water as long as you don’t swallow the water.

1. Do I need a visa to enter India?

Please ensure that your passport is valid for at least 6 months after the last day of your trip as some countries may refuse entry if there is any less. All foreign nationals entering India are required to hold a national passport with a valid visa issued by the High Commission of India. All individual visa seekers are requested to apply for an Indian visa online. The duly signed physical copy of the application form is to be completed and submitted at your nearest Indian Visa Application Centre (IVAC) or directly to Indian Mission/ Post, on the scheduled date of interview along with the required supporting documents. 2. Do I need to purchase travel insurance before travelling to India?

All passengers traveling with Travel Talk must have travel insurance before participating in the tour. Your travel insurance information will be noted by your leader before your tour. Generally speaking India’s climate is defined by three seasons; the hot, the wet (monsoon) and the cool, however the climatic conditions in the far north of India have little relation to those in the extreme south. The most pleasant time to visit most of the country is during the cooler period between November and midFebruary. If you are travelling India during the hot summer and wet, humid monsoon season, cool relief can be found in the northern Himalayan region. Displays of affection by LGBTQ+ couples may attract a negative response. Sadly, for same-sex people to display of affection in public is not an accepted. Please kindly inform us when booking, if you do not identify with the gender stated in your passport. We will adjust the room configuration accordingly. For travelers who do not want to share a room, some tours have a single supplement option.

11. Are airport transfers included and how do I arrange them?

Arrival airport transfer is included for the flights landing to Delhi on the first day of your tour from 5am to 11:30pm or if you have booked your Pre Accommodation with us. You must inform our call center or info@traveltalktours.com of your flight details (date of flight, flight number, arrival time and name of travelers) at least 14 days prior to your arrival to arrange your transfer. You will be picked up by a Travel Talk representative holding a Travel Talk sign at the airport. Departure airport transfer is only available on the last day of the tour between 05:00 and 17:00

12. Where do we gather for the meeting on the first day?

13. Can I book pre or post tour accommodation?

Depending on the dates and hotel availability, we may be able to arrange pre/post-tour accommodation in Delhi. Pre Accommodation includes breakfast & airport transfer and Post Tour Accommodation includes breakfast.

14. Do you have solo travellers on your tours?

There are always solo travelers & like-minded passengers on our tours & we always work to provide our passengers a relaxed & sociable environment, allowing them to easily meet people & make friends.

15. I’m a solo passenger, do I need to pay single supplement?

There are always solo travelers on our tours. If you don’t mind being roomed with another single traveler of the same gender, then you do not need to pay the supplement. Single supplement is for travelers who would like to stay in a single room for the duration of their tour.

16. Can I be roomed with my friends?

17. Do you arrange flights?

Travel Talk specializes in giving you the best tours from around the world, unfortunately the tours we offer do not include airfare and we do not book or advise on airfare. You will be responsible for booking airfare to meet with the group at the starting city.

18. Will my dietary requirements be catered for?

If you provide your dietary requirements at the time of booking, we will do our best to make the necessary arrangements where available. Please note that gluten-free & vegan options may be limited in the country.
