DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN LEH

Arrive in Leh by air. Take it easy and spend the day acclimatizing to the high altitude (around 3,500 meters or 11,500 feet).

Rest at your accommodation, drink plenty of fluids, and avoid strenuous activity.

You can explore the local market and nearby surroundings at a leisurely pace.

DAY 2: LEH LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

Drive to Thiksey Monastery, known for its resemblance to the Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet.

Continue to Shey Palace and Gompa, housing a massive copper statue of Lord Buddha.

Visit The Hall of Fame is a museum by the Indian Army to showcase stories of valor & life in the harsh climes of Ladakh. 

Visit Shanti Stupa, a white-domed Buddhist stupa with panoramic views of the city.

Wander around the old town area and explore local shops and cafes.

DAY 3: LEH TO TURTUK

After breakfast start your journey from Leh & drive through the Khardung La Pass, one of the world’s highest motorable passes (Alt. 17,582 ft.)

Descend into the Nubra Valley, known for its unique landscapes and sand dunes..

Reach Diskit or Hunder, the main villages in Nubra Valley.

After Diskit / Hunder the road takes you along the Shyok River and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

DAY 4: TURTUK EXCURSIO TURTUK TO NUBRA

After breakfast spend the morning exploring Turtuk’s surroundings, taking in the scenic beauty.

You can visit local households to learn more about the Balti way of life.

Enjoy the tranquility of the area and the incredible mountain views.

In the afternoon, start your journey back to Nubra Valley 

Visit famous sand dunes at Hunder. You can enjoy double humped camel ride at Hunder

DAY 5: NUBRA TO PANGONG

Drive to Pangong along with Shyok river

DAY 6: PANGONG TO LEH

After breakfast Start from Pangong Lake in the morning.

  • The Car hired is booked from Destination to Destination. It will not be available after you reach the destinations for local travel or pickup and drops to markets.
  • The stay at Turtuk totally depends upon the road accessibility between Diskit and Pangong, due to weather conditions if the road is closed, Turtuk stay shall be cancelled and rescheduled
    at Diskit. The itinerary will be modified as Diskit to Leh and Leh to Pangong. Rest of the tour remain same.
