ARRIVAL AT LEH

  • Once you arrive at Leh airport you will be received by our coordination & transfer to the Hotel. 
  • Have a rest at the hotel for the whole day. It is necessary for acclimatization.

LEH TO DAH-HANU

  • Approx. Distance: 195 km
  • After breakfast, ride to Dah-Hanu. 
  • En-route visit Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, Magnetic Hill, Sangam of Indus & Zanskar River (Nimu Sangam)
  • Visit Alchi Monastery, Lamayuru Monastery & Moonland
  • Then proceeds to Dah-Hanu via Namik la Pass (Alt. 12,139 ft.) & Fotula Pass (Alt. 13,478ft.). 
  • Then drive to the Dha-Hanu valley and discover the unique culture of the Brokpa people. Night in the Dha-Hanu valley. The descendants of Alexander the Great can be found in India; in fact, they are from Ladakh. Yes, the people of Dha-Hanu valley distinguish themselves as the ‘pure-blood’ Aryans. Well, this seems true with their unique eyes and physical features. The tribe is known as ‘Brokpa,’ and their valley is located 160 km away from Leh. It is popular for apricots, grapes, wine, walnuts, and berries. Brokpas have a very distinct identity, especially their culture, language, costumes and tradition that are significantly different from the rest of Ladakh.

  • Approx. Distance: 85 km 
  • After breakfast ride to Kargil.

KARGIL TO PADUM

  • Approx. Distance: 240 km 
  • After breakfast ride to Padum via Sankoo, Parkachik, Rangdum, Pensi La (14,400 Ft.). 
  • En-route visit the rock-carved statue of Maitreya Buddha at Karste Khar near Sankoo, then enjoy view of Nun-Kun peaks & Drang-Drung glacier (23 km long glacier) which is is the largest glacier in Ladakh that is accessible to tourists.

PADUM - SHINKULA - PURNEY

  • Approx. Distance: 210 km
  • After breakfast, ride towards Shinkula Pass (Alt. 16580 ft.)  It connects the Lahaul region of Himachal Pradesh with the Zanskar region of Ladakh. A strategic road is being built on the pass to ensure an all-weather route to Ladakh, as an alternative to the Leh–Manali Highway. 
  • Then ride to Purney.
  • En-route ejoy view of Gonbo Rangjon (Gumbok Rangan). Gumbo Ranjan, or God’s Mountain, is an imposing, solitary peak located in the remote Kargyak Valley, and is one of the most sacred sites for Zanskari Buddhists.

PUNRNEY - PHUKTAL MONASTERY- PURNEY (TREK: 3 & Half an hour approx.) & RIDE TO PADUM

  • Approx. Distance: 70 km
  • After breakfast, enjoy a trek to Phuktal monastery. Known for being built along the natural caves, Phuktal Monastery is one of the few monasteries in Ladakh that can only be reached by trekking. Situated in the remote Lungnak Valley, Phuktal or Phugtal Monastery is amongst the top attractions in Zanskar. he major attraction of Phuktal Gompa is its natural caves which are said to have been visited by many sages, scholars, and translators more than 2550 years ago. 
  • Back to Puney & ride to Padum.
